The lady who works there is awesome. She does à good job . Takes her time and very meticulous. I recommend her work . The shop itself is a little outdated but the work you're getting done there is good so who cares about the place !!!!

This was my first time here and I was skeptical since no recent reviews. I called around 12:30 on a Thursday to hopefully come in for a brow and upper lip threading during my lunch break. Yelp says by Appointment Only but the door and the photo of the front door says WalkIns are Welcome, so I wanted to be sure. She asked me to come in around 20 minutes so I did and arrived as she was finishing up with another client. I believe it's by appt only now because Zaib was the only employee/stylist there, so I assume she may be the only one every day and is appt only to avoid waits during peak hours. On the phone she quoted me $17 for both brows and upper lip, but the sign on the wall said $16 (11 for brows, 5 for upper lip). Service: she took her time with the threading and wasn't too overly harsh. I asked for just a clean up and to keep my existing shape and she trimmed the length on top as most thread artists do. Usually they thread off my tail end of hairs but she decided to keep mine which I appreciated the option of showing me. Not sure if she would have asked me what I wanted before starting, though. I decided to dock a star since the overall ambiance/experience was nothing stellar and dated considering the price point and Culver City area is on the move of modernizing, although it's a great small business to support. They have a few customer parking spots in the front which was nice. I would probably come back because of location and convenience/limited wait.
