I went to this salon for the first time last week and had my hair colored by Tracy. Y'all. She did an amazing job. I wanted my hair to be golden blonde, and she got the color perfectly! She took my hair up slowly using a 20 volume developer because she said she wanted to maintain the integrity of my hair, and she was absolutely right. I have had my hair this color before, and it always changed the texture of my hair a bit by loosening the curls, but this time my coily 4C hair stayed the same, and I am so thankful. I was referred to this salon by an old friend, and in a hair emergency before a wedding this weekend . I contacted the owner, DeDe. Despite her being out of town, she graciously connected me with another talented stylist at the shop, Tracy. Tracy promptly accommodated me for an appointment on her DAY OFF! My hair was a mess--roots overdue, and my previous highlights weren't quite highlights...and were far from satisfactory. I've been in California for 2 1/2 years and I had the hardest time finding someone to do my hair and couldn't until I got on instagram and found West of Heaven!!!!!. I started with Tracy G. & I'm still here. Tracy is definitely a perfectionist and just check out my hair!!!!. I love the way I was treated the first time I walked in. Tracy,Dee Dee & Lana welcomed me and I knew this is where I wanted to be. Tracy got to know me and my hair before just doing anything or what she wanted to do.
