About LA Fitness
LA Fitness offers a variety of amenities at what is perceived to be a great value. The facilities may include state-of-the-art equipment, basketball courts, group fitness classes, pools, saunas, a Kids Klub, and personal training options. However, there are some concerns regarding cleanliness and the proper storage of weights. Some reviewers have suggested that staff could do more to enforce cleanliness and weight placement rules. The Beverly Hills location has been rated as not ideal, with a rating of 3 stars. It is described as clean but small, with limited equipment and seating. Additionally, there can be large groups of teenagers who are reportedly noisy. The Culver City location has a better rating of 4 stars, with a great location and plenty of equipment. However, the issue of people not putting weights back remains. The Hollywood location has received the lowest rating of 1 star, with a description of it being gross and in disrepair. The Playa Vista location, on the other hand, has received the highest rating of 5 stars, with a reviewer praising it as the best LA Fitness location they have ever seen. Overall, the reviewers' experiences with LA Fitness have been mixed, with varying ratings given to different locations. While there are concerns about cleanliness and the behavior of some gym-goers, there are also positive comments about the facilities, equipment, and staff. Some reviewers have praised the staff, particularly a staff member named Samantha, for providing excellent service and creating a positive experience.

This gym is huge, with a lot of great equipment, but it is one of the messiest gyms!
Management doesn’t enforce the maintenance of weights & the overall cleanliness of the gym. You can get a good workout in, but plan for extra time, just trying to find the equipment, because it’s not where it’s supposed to be.
One of the larger LA Fitnesses but it's older, it could use some updating. Indoor pool, sauna, 4 floors with the underground one for classes, the first two for treadmills, stairs/stepper, bikes, the 4th floor for machines and free weights. They seem to be on top of cleaning which is nice. The trainers here have more availability than other locations and all seem really engaged. Yeliotzka is amazing, if you can book her do it!
Once you do a lap around you can kind of get a sense of where everything is clumped together on th 4th floor. They seemed to have two identical machines for everything then a variant that's somewhat same vicinity of muscles so like if you...read full review
