I moved to AZ and couldn't get a particular key duplicated after going to 4 different places and finding nothing but mobile locksmiths near me. I was going to be in CA, so I took the key with me and made a trip to Monrovia to visit my tried and true. Of course they were able to cut a duplicate for me! I got quoted over the phone about $200 starting price, and he told me it would be about $900 in person. I understand that it would be pricey, but I feel like they should’ve been more upfront about it in person. I thought the most I would be spending is $900.
