“I booked the elopement package for my summer 2024 wedding in Sonoma County. Kirsten quickly responded to my inquiry and got on a phone call with me to help me decide on services and advice on when to book. In that initial conversation, I knew that she was personable, kind, honest, and looked out for her team, all things I valued. I knew then I would go with Devotion Studio. I opted for the elopement package because I didn’t have a bridal party. Despite not having a formal bridal party, Kirsten and Addy made me feel like a total queen. I note this because I was initially anxious about our wedding in booking vendors (e.g., ‘would they think less of me because I’m not having my wedding at a vineyard/don’t have a bridal party/etc’), and those worries never crossed my mind when working with Kirsten and Addy. I had already booked a makeup preview and closer to my wedding date, I asked if there was space to have a hair preview too. Kirsten and Addy were able to make it work and I was able to have both a hair and makeup preview. My preview was two days prior to the wedding because my partner and I traveled to his hometown to get married. The day before my preview I added a ‘plan b hair option’ to my inspiration photos in case my hair wasn’t long enough to do what I wanted. When I met Addy, she said, “Let’s try plan A first. There are lots of ways to make this work.” And she did! When I saw my hair and makeup at my preview, I said “I can’t believe I look like this!” Not that I didn’t look like me, but I felt like Addy made me look the best version of me. She truly nailed the sophisticated yet whimsical and not stuffy vibe I wanted. Throughout the preview, she would check in with me to see what I liked/didn’t. Addy was a true gem to work with. She was professional and kind, and unbelievably patient wedding day (our wedding was less structured than most). My hair and make up lasted all day and past the after party! I have zero regrets booking with Devotion Studio and feel like I got everything I wanted and more. Highly recommend them for on-site beauty squad! I was able to schedule to go to Santa Rosa to have a consultation with them and brought a few pictures of hair styles I was envisioning. After a short discussion, in just one shot Brianna created a look that blended the pictures I had into my own style and then perfectly recreated it the day of my wedding. “I love coming here for regular haircuts. The stylist here work hard to provide an all-around positive experience for the diverse clientelle that come through the doors. They are highly organized and likewise efficient in the services they provide. This is a sister company to the locally recognized West Coast Cuts on Dutton -&- now West Coast Cuts II. You can expect the same high quality and skill from the hair stylists that work here but I think they see less traffic and as a result wait times are minimal. I rarely am weighting more than ten minutes and even that's unusual. This is a high quality, fare priced and friendly establishments. “I have been going to Sarabeth for years now, she has seen me at my hair best and at my hair worst (green hair is not for me). I love going to Sarabeth because she lets me express myself through my hair with crazy colors! She lets me know what is realistic for my hair and what isn't and how much it might damage my hair, but it never feels like she is trying to force me one way or another which I really appreciate. I have been pretty much every color of the rainbow which means a lot of bleach and the blondes know what that means, lots of damage... Usually! But thankfully Sarabeth did all my bleaching and now after 3 years of bleaching my hair is still super strong and healthy and I am constantly getting compliments on it! I love that I always leave her chair happy and styled, which sounds obvious but I have a lot of hair so it can take awhile, and she is always there to help not rushing and doing a great job! She cuts it just the right way so I can still have layers and put it all in a ponytail if I want to.“

I asked her to cut it a specific way, which was the same distance from my head for each hair, except for the part above my ears in order that that wouldn't be shorter than the rest. She followed my request instead of reverting to how she would normally cut a curly head of hair.
