RUINED MY SUIT BY CUTTING HOLES IN IT. A different tailor had ruined a high quality suit by cutting holes in the sleeve when removing 2 labels. WTH? this is standard tailoring to remove the labels without damage. I took the REPLACEMENT suit to Genie, AND showed her the other ruined jacket. Genie said she had formerly worked for Nordstroms (maybe I should have focused on "formerly") She also said the holes could not be repaired. She agreed to alter my NEW REPLACEMENT suit, and to take care removing the labels. I picked up the suit after 2 weeks and decided to check it first. SHE CUT A HOLE IN THE SLEEVE TO REMOVE THE LABEL! Unbelieveable! When I tried to point this out to her, she waived me aside with a "get out of here" back of her hand. I have sent her a demand letter and if no response, off to court we go. It is the only way that you can get merchants to pay attention to the customers. The attitude was appalling, she ruined my suit and was mad at me! I must also note that she wanted to shorten the sleeve from the arm hole- DON'T EVER DO THAT, the sleeve never fits correctly. I know, it is a big pita to remove the sleeve buttons, and put new button holes on, but that is what tailors are supposed to do.

Miracle workers! I live in Houston and was attending a wedding at Pelican Hill. I realized that my formal gown was a bit too big and needed to be taken in at the waist and hips (and through the whole length) about 2.5 inches. I called at 1pm and asked if they could complete it the same day and have it done by 5pm. And they did! And the dress was perfect. And the price was great.

I am so happy with their work. Brought my Wedding dress in for tailoring and I'm very pleased. Quick turnaround, great work, good customer service and very fair price. I had fabric added to part of my dress and a slit made through two layers of the dress. Fits me BEAUTIFULLY!
