After a water ski accident left me with 3 herniated discs and a lot of pain, I was going to get an epidural to relieve the pain. I was referred to Dr. Chappy by my regular chiropractor, who suggested that I needed more than just getting an adjustment. Dr. Chappy squeezed me into his very busy schedule, and I began electromagnetic and laser therapy, as well as spinal decompression and in than 2 weeks, I was pain free! I canceled by epidural appointment and got off all meds. These therapies and the exercises he prescribed helped tremendously and after 7 weeks out from my accident, I'm able to snow ski. About six months ago I developed some significant pain in my right hamstring. I tried several avenues to repair it and relive the pain, from my orthopedist, to acupuncture, to pilates, to physical therapy. Nothing worked. My orthopedist said it was a form of sciatica. He recommended that I see Dr. Chappy Wood at Marin Spine in Corte Madera. He said that he had referred several patients in the past and that Chappy had helped them. Chappy is a chiropractor, but also much more, as he uses state of the area techniques and equipment in his practice. Fast forward - I have been working with Chappy for about four months now and my leg pain is 90% improved and he also significantly reduced shoulder pain I have had for 30 years from an old rotator cuff injury. Chappy is very knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. He took the time to understand my issues and explained the cause of my pain and the high-tech treatments that he has used to resolve my issues. At my first meeting, when I told him about my history, he said that it sounded like he was my last resort, and that he would work diligently to relive my pain, which he has done. I highly recommend him if you have soft tissue or joint problems that you haven't been able to resolve elsewhere.

I have been a client for 10+ years for various injuries & overall maintenance. Chappy is an absolute healer & there is much more to his practice than just chiropractic work. There has never been a time that he hasn't diagnosed my injury and had me walking out feeling substantially improved.
