I have seen Julie for over 20 years. She does her own dental hygiene and it is painfreee. She listens to me when I say I need more novacaine before proceeding. My husband who switched to her because her manual scraping was pain free.

Went in for the $89.00 new patient special for cleaning, X-Rays, and Exam. Dr. Young does her own dental hygiene which I love. She was super thorough and did manual scraping which is really so satisfying. Maybe I'm a Gen X'er and I just like it old school but my teeth are so clean and the water/sonic whatever they have used just doesn't cut it. She pointed out the two fillings I knew I needed, took thorough XRays and polished my teeth to their pearly perfection. I would highly recommend the new patient visit and cleaning. Dr. Julie Young is the best dentist I have ever had. I've gone to her for 24 years. Even after moving to the Peninsula, I have continued to make the drive to Marin because she's so wonderful. She is gentle but thorough, and she's been very patient over the years with my fear of needles. Also, her dental assistant, Michele, is terrific. They are both warm, friendly, competent people, and I cannot recommend them highly enough!
