I came in for brunch at the Del Hotel this Sunday, and I stopped by the spa because I remembered what an amazing and beautiful gift shop they had. I have been in retail for 15 years. I can tell you the aesthetic of any retail store I choose to frequent it's huge for me, as well as how expertly curated the selection is -- this gift shop is five stars and the buyer is phenomenal. I'm not sure who she is or where she's from or how she learned these skills, but the gift shop at the Spa is by far one of the most beautifully selected retail locations! From a retail master to another, wow girl.. wow :)
Spent an amazing day poolside with spectacular views of the bay. The staff were attentive and friendly, the pool food was excellent and very filling. In passing we mentioned we were celebrating my husbands birthday with a staycation and to our surprise at the end of our day we were met with a scrumptious chocolate cake and bottle of wine compliments of the hotel's K. Ruiz and team awaiting us in our room! Ambiance: beachy and chill Cleanliness: very clean Views: dramatic bay views of downtown skyline and naval ships.
Great breakfast and very nice view from the hotel. They have this great area on the side of the hotel that has flamingos. It's very pretty and you can rent bikes, which is a lot of fun to ride all over Coronado. They also had a wedding in the courtyard and it looked beautiful. You can't beat the location being close to great restaurants and the ferry. All of the staff was really nice, especially the bartenders.
