We got up early and got in a quick round today! Decided to play Creste Verde as we haven’t been there in a while, not had we seen Nehee the owner! What a pleasant surprise, the course looks better than it has in years! The fairways were manicured, roughs maintained and the greens were nice accented by collars! Get this, there are Stands with distance markers at every hole as well as ball washers! Cheers gang! Keep up the good work!

3-15-24 update.I like this course. It was founded as a Country Club in 1927 by Randolph Scott and frequented by several other Hollywood stars of the time. Management seems to have a balancing challenge between income and expenses. The greens and fairways are fairly well maintained. But the gophers and ground squirrels make their bumpy ground presence be known in several areas off the main fairways and remediation needs improvement. One sees a fair number of the squirls, some cotton tail rabbits and the occasional coyote. All bunkers have been abandoned and are basically dirt/grass depressions. Great course and staff and great breakfast burritos but no beer cart girl that I've seen but full bar is available and they do lend out a small cooler with beer as an option too
