Love it here! Cute lil' space in Eastside Costa Mesa.... Finally getting back in shape after some time off and a back injury. The mat pilates and sculpt classes are helping me build back my core to support my back. The teachers are great with their perfect bodies, and let's be honest, what's more motivating then taking a class from someone you want your body to look like! So far I've taken classes with Zephanie and Tiffany, and look forward to trying the others..
I decided I need to get back in shape after the Covid 20+ crept up on me. I haven't done pilates in 3 years and was really scared to try when I'm so out of shape. Toni was great! She understood my limitations and made sure I was in proper form and wouldn't get injured. After my first class, I immediately signed up for 5 more. Classes sizes are small (max of 3), and times are limited. I'm not an early morning person, so my choices are limited. I've also signed up at another studio (not related) to subsidize my workouts. Of the two studios, The Body Collective gives a better (read "harder") workout and much more personal attention.
Just did my first Pilates class with Toni & I am absolutely in love! She is an amazing instructor & makes me feel confident & strong. The class kicks my butt in the best way possible & it's a fun way to get a workout in. Definitely going to continue coming to the body collective!
