Some doctors lack a good bedside/chair-side manner. Others suffer from a packed schedule and can't take the time to explain the issue that ails you. Neither is true of Dr. Mark Tran. He is patient, engaged, and very thorough. I like everything about him. Today was my 4th visit to Newport Dermatology. Last year, I was referred to Dr. Tran by another doctor who was unable to diagnose my rash. I'm grateful to her for the referral. Dr Tran knows his stuff, (John Hopkins and Stanford) he's no slouch. I had my first appointment at the Newport Dermatology Institute yesterday. I was greeted by friendly staff at the front desk who processed my information efficiently. The nursing staff were friendly and accommodating. What soon followed was a thorough examination by Dr. Mark Tran. His pleasant demeanor was evident as he explained everything he was doing and why. He treated my precancerous skin issues and took a sample to further evaluate which he was able to do right away because he is also a pathologist. Dr. Mark Tran is the "GO-TO" professional for all your dermatological needs, especially if you are a complicated case like mine was. His office staff is amazing......they are punctual and courteous. And, his offices are among the nicest architectural design that I have ever seen. In closing, Dr. Tran is the BEST!!!
