This review is mainly for Kaylee.

I had gone to her once before (when Blades was open) and I was very happy to have her cut my hair back then. She listens and understands well what I was asking for. At that time I wanted a little length taken off, but I was nervous based on previous experiences with others, but she knew what she was doing.

This time I went to her and had a general idea of what I wanted and I have to say that Kaylee is amazing with a pair of scissors. She knows exactly what do to with curly/wavy hair and how to cut it so that it looks the way you want it to after.

If you want a super high-quality cut, come find this hidden gem. Kaylee will give you the loom you want. She listens to you for sure. Don't let the bowling alley vibe fool you. You won't regret it.

Saw Nicole today. At first I was scared to make the jump to a new stylist since I've been with mine for over 10 years, but it was time to find someone closer. I found her through yelp and then also heard about her from my waxer. So glad I booked an appointment with her. She was able to get me an appointment that worked well with my schedule, reasonable prices, and she really listened to what I wanted done to my hair. The color looks great, especially having to work around what someone else has been doing for 10 years. Looking forward to having a great stylist so close to home! The salon is located at the Clayton Bowling alley, which is odd. If you're looking for fabulous service and no drama you've found your place. If you want the fancy Walnut Creek atmosphere go elsewhere.
