My daughters are learning Kung Fu and thriving at One Tribe with Sifu Mike, Sifu Luke, Master Barbosa and all the wonderful sijehs and sihings. They are excellent teachers and are able to connect with each student, helping them improve their physical and listening skills while teaching them values of respect, integrity, and kindness.Standouts for me at this school are the Sanda/Sanshou kickboxing sparring for kids, the seminars and family events, and the strong female role models.As a parent, I’ve watched my daughters be inspired to do better and have more confidence. My daughter has been learning Kung fu at one tribe for two years and is thriving! She has gained confidence, improved coordination, and better listening skills thanks to the excellent teachers at One Tribe. Sifu Mike, Sifu Luke, Master Barbosa, and all the Sihings and Sijehs are amazing! They connect with each student, provide personalized feedback and training, and teach Kung fu with a focus on their values of respect, moral integrity, wisdom and kindness. My daughter Amelia started going here end of January (she's almost 5) and she loves it. Not only is it a good physical activity, it teaches discipline and works of the child's ability to stay focused and listen. Plus they make it fun. I've watched a few different children start out classes and they are quite good at bringing a shy child out of their shell. Kids that will be nervous and crying at the beginning, but having a blast by the end. I'm happy with the amount of classes available to my child per week.
