Glamour cuts stays true to its namesake, as you'll leave here feeling glamorous! I was searching for salons where I currently live in Davis but nothing appealed to me so I decided to use Yelp places by my parent's home so I could get a haircut while visiting them and so I came across Julia's salon. Her salon is very clean, comfortable and cute. Since she has the salon to herself, I found it to be a very peaceful atmosphere compared to other salons that have many hairdressers and a lot of commotion. I came to Julia for a trim and curtain bangs. I let her know that my wedding is coming up very soon and didn't want too much hair taken off to leave more options for my styling and she did such a great job of dusting off my ends and leaving me with my length. She also gave me tips as to how to style my curtain bangs especially since I haven't rocked bangs since I was an undergrad. Julia gives great hair advice and is a friendly and sweet person. Long hair review here!!! Ok, so I'll admit I haven't had a hair cut or trim in over 4 years. Since my last "trim" lost me HUGE length with took me yearrrrrs to grow back and months of crying. I didn't care how dead my ends were. No one's taking 5 inches from my hair ever again. Then I got curious. I wanted my hair to be healthy and knew I had dead to trim off. Through anxiety and panic attacks, I found Glamour Cuts and all the awesome reviews for long hair. Never pulled the trigger. Months later, still looking at it on yelp. Pulled the trigger. Got an appt 4 weeks out. Day of: today, almost cancelled. But I didn't. I was brave and went and met Julia. She had a very personable and friendly personality. She spoke my hair language. I left with my hair feeling healthier than EVER, plus some beautiful long layers and she legitimately kept my length. We took off a lot of dead but made a plan together to ease into the rest to keep my length. I'm so glad I went. I will never go anywhere else. Thank you so much Julia!!!! This was an awesome experience
