The cemetery is closed due to liability hazards on the property.Let me sign a waiver to gain access ? That is the least you coulddo . My Loved Ones are in there ! D.S.H.Restrooms: Open the gates so i might be able to use them ?

This is one of the worst kept cemeteries I have ever seen. I was disappointed to have traveled from Texas to visit my father's grave and not only was the cemetery closed in the middle of the day the property was in terrible condition. It saddens me to know my father is buried in there. He was a Navy veteran and should be treated better.

I'm deeply sadded by all the information learned here just after my first visit. Same time had not been so interested in trying to help this Cemetery. Founded in 1870 as Compton Rural Cemetery, Woodlawn is one of the oldest cemeteries in Los Angeles County. It is closed and under new ownership.
