“I am a recent graduate and my experience at Dolphine Trucking was a pleasant one. My instructors were kind, patient, helpful & offered one on one help whether I asked for it or not. They cared about my success just as much as I did. Even before I asked for help Phil took me under his wing. He made sure I knew my pre-trip and gave me homework. He said, "I'm gonna test you tomorrow you better know it. When I asked for help he said, "I'm here I got you anything you need." When I needed more time after class to practice he stayed and helped me. When Magno, Walter, & Herrera saw areas where I can improve they gave me encouragement & advice. When I was slacking Jon gave me that look & told me you better stop coming late we're gonna start closing the gate. Even my classmates were awesome and we all still keep in touch. I was horrible at every skill when I started. I never drove a semi-truck before. Because of my determination, my faith, and the help & support of my instructors and classmates, I am a Class A driver. “I took the 6 session course of the course for about 4 months and it gave me plenty of time to get used to the process of driving. While at the beginning it did feel like a drastic jump in stress, as sessions went on it became far easier and even comfortable to gradually learn the rules of the road. My instructor for most of my sessions was Carlos Garcia, and he stuck the perfect balance of being calm and collected when I was doing well and quickly correcting me when I made a mistake. Overall an amazing experience.“

“Great place. Jim, the driving instructor was awesome. The class portion was good, my daughter and I drove to the office to pick up her completion and take the writing test. She passed. Then she had Jim help her with driving skills. She passed the driving test with a 97. Highly recommend this place, one good price for class and for behind the wheel, both. They are very knowledgeable and the whole process was easy and drama free.“

“I’ve put aside the 6 hours with an instructor because of school and during the pandemic I’ve figured that I should get it done. (& my permit is expiring in a couple of months) I called numerous driving instructors in hopes of completing the 6 hours and Trans Oceans Driving School is the place where I felt most comfortable in doing so. My instructor, Sarah, was kind, patient, and understanding. And although there was somewhat of a language barrier because she only spoke Mandarin, she still tried striking up conversations and ultimately was in it to help her students succeed. There were many times where she asked if I needed a water break or anything really. After having multiple negative encounters with past instructors (rudeness, don’t text back, very high pricing, forgot to pick me up...) and finally contacting Sarah from Trans Ocean is surreal. In addition to all the positives, pricing is the lowest out of all the other instructors that I have worked with which is a huge +. Props to Sarah, definitely recommend if you want to learn how to drive & get those hours completed!“
