“Dr. Greener and the staff at this location are amazing! Our pup gets the best of care.“
“I am very impressed with the quality of care, especially with one of my cats who is terrified of anyone he does not know. This was his first visit and Dr. Ashwini knew how to create a "safe space" for him by being able to make him feel calm with her gentle, quiet, caring approach. Tesla on the front desk is also very knowledgable , helpful and friendly, actually all the staff are great and obviously love cats, and I noticed how much less stressful an experience it was for my 'boys" to visit a 'cat only " clinic. I wish I had known about this place years ago and grateful for someone recommending them to me.“
“Putting a dog to sleep is heartbreaking but Lotus was outstanding... calming me down as well as my dog The procedure was done in a non hurried way and they took the time for me to say good bye I highly recommend them ..!!!“
“WE LOVE Camino Real Pet Clinic! All their staff is kind, attentive and caring. We were recommended last year around November to this clinic by my pup's groomer after she found some of Butter's rotten teeth that needed to take care of. Of all the clinics that I called, Camino Real was the most attentive one. They actually care about your pet. Dr. Ten, Butter's vet, made sure to check up fully on Butter and had all the necessary lab works before the procedure. Dr. Ten explained to me what to expect and kept me informed all the time on the day of the procedure. Though Butter needed to have more teeth extracted than originally planned, Dr. Ten only charged us for her hours, not per tooth. Thus, I'm so grateful to Dr. Ten and Camino Real Pet Clinic for their reasonable charge and superb service!
We've been a regular customer of Camino Real Pet Clinic ever since. We live in San Jose but I'm willing to drive Butter here for quality and caring pet services.
The clinic is a quaint historical house and it has a small parking lot in the back and along its side and one spot in the front. It can accommodate up to 5 cars, I believe. I've never had problem finding parking here.
Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Ten and the Camino Real Pet Clinic to anyone!“
“Some of the bad reviews on here are borderline unreasonable. Yes, much like human doctors some Vets aren't taking in new clients... why? Because numerous reasons, staffing shortages, over patient to staff ratios etc.. YOU need to understand, there's a reason why someone isn't taking new clients. Owners want to give quality care! It is unfortunate for those who are not existing patients and are experiencing unfortunate circumstances. Speaking from experience, Dr. G used to be my dog Cadence Vet, he was always amazing! I remember when she was getting spayed and I could not afford EKG (safe monitoring) my little girls and I were so nervous and he could see the worry on my face and my little girls. He did the ekg for no charge to make sure our little Cadence was safe and had his staff update us. I will never forget that. Thats a staff and Vet you know cares! I'm lucky that, this time I called for our new pup, turns out he is taking new pup patients again. Can't wait for Simba to meet his new doctor!“
“Our 13-year old senior female maltese-mix dog suddenly became ill with urinary symptoms worsening the next day which happened to be July 4th. We canceled our plans to go watch fireworks to stay home with the dog. I called her regular veterinary office first thing in the morning but got a recording that they were busy and unable to take my call and to leave a message for a call back. Left a message describing our dog's symptoms and the need for her to be seen right away. This was in the morning. Several hours passed without a call back so I called Millbrae Pet Hospital because they advertised urgent care and same-day appointments. They were very polite, asked questions and arranged an appointment after explaining there would be an extra cost for a same-day appointment and was I okay with that. I found the fee reasonable and booked the appointment. Ironically, our regular vet's office finally called back as we arrived for our appointment. They were disappointed we had booked somewhere else but they understood and apologized for the delay. Upon arrival we were directed to the waiting area after giving them our dog's information. The office is bright and clean but they informed us that the a/c wasn't working (it was a hot day). I was relieved that the waiting area wasn't crowded. After a brief wait we were called to the exam room. Staff was very polite, checking in on us several times and keeping us updated on when the doctor would be in, explaining he had just finished performing surgery. The doctor was very nice, asked questions and explained all the possible causes for our dog's symptoms as he examined her. Afterwards he went over a list of recommended tests to help determine the cause of our dog's symptoms but he stressed that he always likes to start with the lowest cost option first whenever possible and only progress to more expensive tests or treatment options if the initial treatment doesn't work. I said I would be okay with doing some bloodwork panels in addition to the antibiotics. He kept trying to save us money, saying we could always do additional tests later if she didn't improve mid-way through a course of antibiotics which might be all she needed to clear up her infection. I have never met a veterinarian that didnt push expensive tests. In the end I really wanted some bloodwork done in addition to urine testing so the doctor patiently explained what each blood panel test could reveal and recommended which one would be most beneficial. Such an honest, straight forward doctor! They had us wait for the results of the tests. We had the waiting area to ourselves. Her bloodwork came back surprisingly good, with only a couple of markers elevated which he explained were likely spiked by her infection. A bladder infection was confirmed. He prescribed a 3-week course of antibiotics to ensure elimination of all bacteria to avoid a bounce-back infection after the antibiotics are stopped. He also very compassionately explained that she might be experiencing pain so he included pain medication to be administered just until she feels more comfortable. This was the most positive vet experience. I had expected a huge bill depending on what was wrong but came away pleasantly surprised. HIGHLY recommend Millbrae Pet Hospital!“
“I've been going here with my cats since 2009. I love it here- the vets as well as the wonderful technicians are so experienced and loving to Vixen and Villain. Unfortunately my Villain passed away in 2009 but I still go there with Vixen. They are there to answer any questions at any time and I have counted on them over the years.“
“We've been taking our cat here for years and they've taken good care of our cat. The recommendations and advice we've received have been pragmatic and sound. When she needed dental surgery, the experience was as good as we could have hoped.“
“Our family has been pet owners for many years. For years we had been bringing our pets to the pet hospital "down the street" from Coastal Holistic because of the caring and friendly staff. It wasn't until years ago, when things changed and staff turned over and the shift from care to financial motivation became the primary benefactor that we decided to make a change as well. Unfortunately we didn't switch to Coastal Holistic at the time, but instead another pet hospital that was closer. They were fine, for awhile but unfortunately we realized they too were driven by price rather than the care of their patients. Finally, after some advice, we found Coastal Holistic. The best part, some of the staff that genuinely cared for our pets were the ones who came over to this practice! We made an appointment to see Dr Steve Randle for one of our dogs who had a mass that we were concerned about. Feeling comfortable with the initial appointment we decided to schedule surgery (after waiting on blood work). The surgery was successful and the mass was sent in for testing which later came back as benign. We could not have been any happier with our experience with the entire staff at Coastal Holistic. Our only regret is that we didn't make the switch years ago. Thank you Dr Steve Randle, Deb, Jay, Daniela and everyone else who took part in making our experience so positive. We travel a little further just to come out to Coastal Holistic but it is well worth it for the exceptional care and service that we receive as well as our pets. We are also very impressed with the competitive prices that Coastal Holistic offers for their services. Thank you!“
“Dr. Chase provides the highest level of care specializing in preventative care. She cares for our pet as if it were her own. She has high expectations of her clients, but it's because she cares so much about the animals and wants them to live long, healthy lives.“
“Very impressed with Sage. Staff that interacted with my cat and I were super caring and gentle. It's obvious they love animals and what they do.
Dr. Navneet Saini was responsive and spent a good time answeing questions and helping me choose the right plan of diagnosis for our sick cat. Her assistant tech was also wonderful. Wish I had her name to give her a shout out too.
Pricing and text system were clear.
I highly recommend SAGE.“
“Dr. Mats Koelimij is an amazing doctor! He has helped several of my pets and is understanding and all the staff at PSAH are so sweet and helpful and amazing at their jobs“
“I have been going to Linda Mar Clinic for the past 25 years. All my pets have been seen and treated by Dr. Cucaro and Dr. Wilson. Both Veterinaries are compassionate and Knowledgeable. Great staff and plenty of parking. My cats and dogs receive great care here. Whether, it be a yearly physical or emergency care. They have been there for my pets! We almost lost our kitty after he consumed my daughter's medication that he found on the floor. I called at 7:30 am and Dr Wilson met us at the clinic and started emergency treatment of oxygen etc. if it wasn't for their immediate care we would have lost him. Their expertise and knowledge in immediate care was outstanding! I thank them for their care and compassion for my pets. They deliver the best care and work their hardest to prevent and save their patients (pets). I highly recommend them and will always take my pets there. Not only is the care excellent but they also accommodate prices. I have never been charged for something that was not needed. Thank you Dr. Cucaro , Dr. Wilson and staff for your honest and compassion work! So thankful for my Veterinaries and staff! “
“This is such a great animal hospital - very helpful and attentive and I feel like the doctors here really listen and care about their clients. 5 stars all the way!!“
“As always, I appreciate your continued fine attention. Your
care is exemplary and feel fortunate to be in your care.

“It was hard finding a new Veterinarian after our previous vet clinic closed. We tried a few, but none really stuck until we met Dr. Tais at Masson. She was personable and took her time getting to know each of my pups. The office staff, Sarah, Jennifer and Jasmine are also a very big reason we chose to stay at Masson, they're all super detailed and knowledgeable. It is so hard to find a Veterinarian that you and your pups like and it's even harder finding a great office team, but at Masson you get both! I am so so happy I found them.“
“Dr Weber is wonderful and very helpful! Our dog Quinn is also taken care of as much as possible when we need to visit.“
“This was the most pleasurable vet visit I've ever had. Dr and staff were so friendly and caring. So nice!“
“It was refreshing to find a wonderful vet with the experience, expertise, and kindness of the entire staff. I took my dog to have her teeth cleaned an a tooth possibly pulled. They did a great job“
“We have been seeing Dr. Magnar for acupuncture at the clinic and are very happy with the care our dog has been receiving. His is a complex case and there is no magic pill, but the fact that he is always eager to go to and resistant to leaving the clinic after each session says a lot about the way he is treated there :)“
“Caring and loving people, from the doctors to the technicians. Always professional and empathetic, you can tell they genuinely care of your pet and are not there just to make money. We have been seeing Dr Sutter, very knowledgeable, experienced, patient and caring. Prices are absolutely great, compared with other clinics in the area we had to deal with, before finding them. Highly recommended“
“SF PET HOSPITAL, is a very good place to have your pet looked after. Staff is friendly and services are priced to keep money in your pocket. The Veterinarians are informative and work with a budget.***** ExcellentStreet parking only one block off the Muni 5 line at Divisadero“
“The person that answered was able to answer all my questions about my new Parakeets over the phone.“
“Dr. Sutter & his staff are truly Godsent. Dr. Sutter is very kind, knowledgeable and thorough. He has been looking after our pets for quite some time now, and continues to amaze us with his skills. I have a pretty big pack at home, and they all are patients at this clinic. My kitten had a recent surgery with Dr. Sutter to have his injured eye removed. I felt very at ease knowing my little guy was in the best hands. I have another adult cat that has been Dr. Sutters patient for quite some time, and he always provides great care and recommendations during annual visits. Our two dogs also are quite nervous around people, but they absolutely love Dr. Sutter and his technicians. They are so loving and gentle to them, truly treating them as if they were their own pets. His staff is absolutely wonderful, and kind. All of my interactions with them have been positive, and supportive. I am so glad we found this clinic, and Dr. Sutter. I give them all my strongest recommendation, and appreciation for their wonderful work.“
“My dog has been in the care of Avenues Pet Hospital for 3 years now. It can sometimes take a while to be seen for non-urgent stuff, such as the very first new client appointment and the annual exam, but otherwise my dog gets seen quite quickly as things come up (usually within a few days, and via email or phone when I have concerns but am not sure if they are worth an appointment). They did not allow people inside for a long while due to Covid safety restrictions, but we can now go inside to wait in the waiting room, and accompany our pets during their appointment. It seems silly for other reviews to complain about this when it was for a valid reason and not an arbitrary policy. The only times I can't accompany my dog is when he comes in for his regular nail trim and gland expression as an out-patient - this is done in the back where pet owners aren't allowed. FYI I get his nails done at the vet bc he has particularly long blood vessels / quicks in his nails, so I feel safer about it being done here, even though it's a roughly-done trim and I file them smooth at home. The vets are kind and I always feel like I'm getting their honest assessment. Front desk is also always very helpful. For reviews that mention they're rude - it can depend on the person tbh, but if anything I think some can be less warm than others, and I would *not* say at all that they've ever been rude. I think they're really busy nonstop and are doing their best to get through patients in an efficient manner -- and that can sometimes be interpreted as being a little cold, when really it's just being neutral. As a society we tend to think women are "cold" when they're not overly warm and are otherwise just being normal & neutral, yet don't think that of men doing the same. So let's check our gender bias, alright? One word of advice that I learned the hard way - most medications are substantially cheaper at Chewy or Costco, so ask them to send out the prescription! The vet office has zero problem doing that and it's never awkward. It's not a perfect system since Costco doesn't have everything, and Chewy takes some days for delivery (i.e., doesn't work for meds needed the same day). I don't say this as a knock against the hospital, as I think this is common practice for vets and helps keep the lights on. I instead say this as a heads up, because I didn't know this for the longest time.“
“The older lady named Mary that works at Colma and at Spruce is the light of the office. Dr. B. is very skilled and compassionate.“
