I am coming back to review this business as I had them prepare my taxes 2020 taxes; there were signs that I chose not to ignore and I never went back. My current tax preparer wanted to look at our 2020 taxes and had to correct MANY mistakes that were made. First mistake, when the taxes were done, I happen to look at the social security number and it was my phone number. What social security number starts with 414??? At that moment, I should have taken my taxes and had them prepared elsewhere. Second mistake, our daughter was a student, she was never claimed as a dependent on our taxes; she was not old enough to be an independent!!!! so that mistake has to be corrected as an amendment. There were more mistakes that need to be corrected by my current tax preparer which is mind boggling. I know tax preparers are not infallible. But when prior years mistakes are now coming to the light this is simply not okay. I also had to go through issues to try to get this preparer to fix the phone number/social security mistake which he did after several appointments. One of them, he was a no-show...another red flag. I do not recommend this business to prepare taxes. It's like he doesn't know why he's doing or just doesn't care. I expect stellar service from anyone who prepares my taxes and error-free is vital. Again, mistakes are costly and they don't /won't show up until Years later when the IRS finds them. Also my current tax preparer is very familiar with this business as they have had to correct and amend many other clients taxes. Sorry I had to be honest but sometimes the truth hurts.
