Prado is my Sanctuary. You can find me out there with my best friends almost every weekend. The only problem is that I wish I could go more, but I guess I need to work too. This place is thought to be a dog park, but it is so much more. There are numerous ponds to train on, and the water levels will vary throughout the days, weeks, months, etc. The park is part of the Prado flood basin, so depending on the rainfall, many areas will be flooded out during the winter and early spring months. Probably one of the only places to do real field training.. it does get busy on the weekends and right before any sort of trial.. cost is $15 per family vehicle (day pass) upTo two dogs additional dogs are $5/each if I remember correctly.. I heard they take credit cards now too

I don't know why this place has bad reviews. I left my 2 dogs here for boarding for about a week. They were well taken care of! The kennels are clean and comfortable. I was able to call whenever I wanted to check in. I had specific feeding instructions and they were very accommodating. The staff was wonderful and you can tell they care about the dogs there. Elena was very kind and Sabrina answered all of my questions and put me at ease that they would take care of my fur babies. I highly recommend this place for boarding. A plus is that the price is affordable too!
