I love Riverwood Veterinary! Dr Sandy saved my dog Muffin's Jaw when it was broken. she's a shih-tzu, so when traditional tape muzzle treatment wouldn't work, Dr. Sandy forged ahead in her own path! It was amazing, and we wouldn't be here without Dr. Sandy! Riverwood is excellent with all of my pets, and they know who I am and what pets belong to me. My pets are more than a number, and are treated like family at Riverwood! we are so grateful for all of the services and support, and the staff at Riverwood.
Dr Sandra Hazanow and Dr Kyle Crowson are both innovative, intuitive, compassionate veterinarians with a wealth of knowledge and skill. Our cat, Lucy, suffered such damage to her mouth... we're not sure how it happened... that her tongue was lacerated in many places. She was unable to eat or drink and most likely would have died. After calling around to many veterinary hospitals which were booked solid for weeks, someone mentioned that we try Riverwood, and thank God, they were able to see Lucy that very day. Dr Crowson quickly came up with a plan of action, conferred with Dr Hazanow and arranged their schedule to quickly proceed with a surgery to reconnect her tongue and allow her tissue to heal. Dr Hazanow performed the surgery. Her stitch-work in Lucy's mouth was nothing short of masterful and boy, did it work! After a two week recovery, Lucy's is able to eat, drink and groom herself again. We are so thankful to the whole team at Riverwood. The office staff and med techs were sooooo supportive and encouraging during this whole process. We can't say enough about these wonderful people at Riverwood and how much they care for our pets. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
I love Riverwood vet clinic, all staff, and Dr. Sandy. Euthanizing Teddy went as well as it possibly could. They got him in same day, did paw prints & hair clipping. ❣️💔🐾
