First visit and really happy with my meal. Had the birria tacos with whole black beans and rice. Unlike some taquerias and Mexican restaurants this food tastes like someone's mama made it at home. The beef in the tacos was fresh tasting and so tender - no fat. The consume was flavorful and not over salted like some places. Plus its in a handy, easy to get to location. All in all a nice experience and I'll be back.

I look forward to Wednesday visits for the Wet Burrito special. This is my "go to" place for my Mexican food. I am vegetarian and have enjoyed everything I've tried. The music and atmosphere are authentic, the staff is super friendly.

Took my mom to Maria. Couldn't be more pleased. Maria was super accommodating and patient. When it came time to help mom transfer back into her wheelchair from the shampoo chair Maria did not hesitate to help me with her.She then trimmed and styled moms hair exactly the way she wanted it. Mom was happy and so was I. So thankful to have been referred to Maria Lewis at Mateo & Co.
