Best Barber Shops In Chico

“One of the many things I love about being a Chico Native, is that I'm constantly pleasantly surprised by treasure troves of new shops that constantly pop up. Even House of Fades, while not new, certainly was new to me. Being a Local Guide gives me an opportunity to share such places with everyone else. Let me answer the biggest question? Do they cut.... whatever your fill in the blank is, they provide the service. It's not just that they provide the service, they have a lifetime of experience. This is one of those little shops that you find while trying to get a haircut real quick, and end up a lifelong customer. My stylist was Pam. I can't say enough good things about this woman. Besides the amazing fade, she was the most pleasant person to talk with. I've always heard stories about Hairdresser's being peoples therapists. I'm fairly confident Pam should have charged me. Lol. I had an awesome experience. I was more than happy to come out of pocket for the cost of the haircut and a nice tip. Please tip your stylist. It's the right thing to do. Make sure you go to the right place, it's dead center in.the strip mall across from Happy Garden, next door to the thrift shop.

Believe it was Latoiya who cut my hair and she killed it, 10/10. Ran me through the process of how she was gonna cut my hair and helped explain a reference I showed her. Highly recommend.“

“Cut was shorter than I asked for, I have thinning hair in the front and it made me look terrible. Also put some nasty product in my hair but never asked me if it was okay to use. The guy was friendly and polite but I am guessing it’s not the guy someone referred me to because his haircut was great. Also for 30$ he should of trimmed my eyebrows and ears. He did one ear just a bit and totally overlooked the other ear. I would recommend that people are very clear about what they want. One last thing and I hate to say this, but did I get lesser treatment for being a minority in the shop? I am not racist and have respect for all humans, one of the reasons I went into a all Hispanic barber shop. I have to say! those are some really cool benches!!! and the shop atmosphere is good!!!
