“I am not one to typically post a review but I feel obligated to do so as Brandon and his team at Nu Design provided me with a superb experience through and through.I just finished remodeling my first home and i reached out to 5 different companies to help me out with my kitchen and closets. I ultimately decided to go with Nu Design as I was most impressed and comfortable with Brandon. He was very flexible and responsive. When we met, he took his time to teach us about cabinetry and our different options. He is extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions without being pushy and try to close the sale. We agreed to then pay the design fee. Brandon met with us multiple times throughout the design phase to perfect the design by going over all of the small details and to create something functional yet beautiful that will serve my family and I for years to come.We then signed off on the design and put our project into production. Nu Design was able to turnaround our project in 5 weeks! Brandon kept me updated and sent me pictures of the progress during this time. “After experiencing a slab leak in our kitchen just days before Christmas, we were stressed to find a kitchen remodeling business. During the scope of our search, we came upon GD Kitchen & Bathroom Remodeling, based in Woodland Hills. I visited their website and was impressed by the level of detail that had gone into putting it together. Despite my first impression, I was apprehensive to call hoping that I would not be disappointed. Surprisingly, I was wrong. I had the pleasure to speak with Arian Barzinpour, who was warm and professional over the phone and who without any hesitation, offered to come to my home for a personalized design and estimate. Mr Barzinpour arrived in time and at first impression, his demeanor was the same as in the phone. Mr Barzinpour (who I now referred to by his first name) quickly demonstrated his level of knowledge and expertise in the field of kitchen remodeling. He took the time to hear our concerns, then offered a few suggestions which we were very appreciative.Within a few days, I received a 3D design of my kitchen and an estimate that was easy to understand. The quote was priced reasonably without any padding added. I accepted the quote and Arian invited us to visit his showroom to assist with the cabinet and countertops selections.We visited GD Kitchen & Bathroom showroom and were extremely impressed by the selection offered. “We wanted to create a new kitchen cabinet for the refrigerator that would also house a pull-out pantry. Rory at Heartwood was prompt to respond to inquiries and after some initial discussion, was able to provide a sketch of the project. I was impressed with her attention to detail, including ancillary issues unrelated to the cabinet itself (making sure we knew to get water and plumbing moved for the refrigerator, taking into account the position of overhead lighting, etc). The project took about three weeks, which matched the estimate given at the beginning. The installation was fast and neatly done and the new cabinet is functional as well as aesthetically pleasing.“

The reason I give 4 stars, not 5, is that I really needed to contact them and ask them several time to get quote and get appointment. And it's a bit pricy. But the repair work they did was really great and I'm very happy.“

“Working with Alejandro and his team was easy and seamless from start to finish. I reached out with a pretty specific request for a built in seating/record storage area and provided him my rough sketches and measurements for the piece. Alejandro responded to me quickly, provided me with a professional quote and timeline for the project which was adhered to from start to finish, even with a few minor tweaks to the design as we realized we needed to make some small changes. The built in seating area came out perfectly and really added the special something we needed in what was otherwise a pass through space; it has truly become to centerpiece of our home. We have had other handymen and craftspeople work on other projects since and all of them comment on how beautifully made the built-ins are that Alejandro and his team created.
