Update: Oct. 10, 2024 DO NOT GO TO SHARKEYS!!!! Still no apology from owner of Sharkeys or Sommer. Apparently the owner is completely fine letting Sommer do her own thing and be extremely rude to customers (the owner is completely aware of the situation). Just shows that this company is only interested in money and not on the customers experiences and well-being. I would hate to work with an owner or staff like that. They lost a costumer for good. We will never go back!! Luckily I have found a much better, more professional and welcoming place for my kid's haircuts. As a parent, I want only the best for my kids. Both my boys had hair cuts scheduled today with her. She had cut their hair many times in the past. We've been coming here for a few years (shout out to Brandy for always providing great haircuts/experiences!). My husband, boys and I were a few minutes late so only one of my kids was able to get a haircut. Not a big deal. My oldest starts school next week so he's the only one who needed a haircut asap. We had no problem forfeiting the secong haircut due to the rules. We understand and accept the rules even when there was an additional stylist there and no other customers. We didn't complain at all and were accomodating and upbeat. We were told, after waiting a few minutes, that Sommer's clippers were broken so she couldn't cut my sons hair. We were fine with it and happily accepted their offer of Jennifer cutting my sons hair. Jennifer did a decent job on my sons hair though she seemed nervous through the whole cut (who knows what Sommer said to her). Still, we happily chit chat a bit during the cut. No issues with her. Then while paying, we were told by the receptionist that Sommer no longer wanted to cut both my son's hair anymore and that we would have to book with another stylist from then on. This was very odd. Both of my boys have never once cried or tantrumed the entire time we have ever visited here for haircuts. If they look back on their survalience cameras they would know this is true. My husband went back to speak to the receptionist and she stated that Sommer said that on our last visit, my youngest son dropped and broke her clippers (never happened). I called later in the day to speak to Sommer to clear the air and let her know she was confusing us with another family. She barely let me talk and was super rude to me. Her story was that, at the last haircut, my youngest son was crying on my lap because he did not want his haircut. She let him see the clippers and he dropped and broke them. She ran to the backroom because she was upset and crying about it so another stylist had to do the cut. She said she needed to buy another clipper system. Absolutely none of that happened with my sons!!!! My boys have NEVER once sat on my lap for a haircut (they always happily sit in the cars). My boys have NEVER once cried or tantrumed during a haircut. I told Sommer that and that never happened with my son/family and that she was confusing us with some other family. My youngest son has mostly a scissor cut since he has curly hair. She was very rude and refused to believe me. I want to speak to a manager but can't get a hold of one because I'm pretty sure I will be hung up on. I want video proof of this incident supposedly happening with my kids!! I want an apology for the rudeness! The last appt we had May 9 (both kids), June 7 (just my older son). Both cuts by Sommer

Erica did an awesome job with my lil girl! My daughter didn’t want to cut her hair but she treat her like royalty and now she wants to go again to cut her hair. Thank you for making an awesome experience with my daughter. Love her new haircut
