Diane has cut my curly, fine hair for 15 years. Consistently excellent, never a bad cut. She's quick and precise; I wash my hair, shake it out, and it's perfect every time. She helped the transition from color to gray, helping me find a more flattering layered cut that softened both my aging face and the color grow-out. Most important, she discouraged me from a short cut to expedite cutting off the color, and I'm glad she did since I would have regretted it. The whole growing out process was pretty painless with Diane's help and I love the natural color and new style. Did I mention Diane's haircuts are $30? Best bargain for a perfect cut I've found. And it's a cool old barbershop instead of a glitzy salon with lots of expensive products being pushed on you. You get the basics, an excellent haircut, right next to the Cayucos Pier. First time in town, as a queer POC was a bit nervous but immediately felt so welcome and comfortable! Great vibes, music and service, 10 out of 10 would recommend. Got a simple line up last min, and was accommodated very smoothly. Love.
