U. S. Bank offered a $300. bonus if you opened a new Checking account. I asked if I qualified for the bonus... The Banker at U.S. Bank told me Yes, I did qualify. I did the requirements of the direct deposit and the 10 debit card transactions totaling $100. or more with the 90 day opening period. Months down the road never got the Bonus. After numerous calls to the bank 800 number, speaking to the new branch manager Russell Donton, even to Melissa the Representative to the Office of President at U. S. Bank. they will not credit me the $300 Bonus. Reason being..... I had a prior account in the last 2 years.....Why was I not told that information at the time of opening the checking. I could have waited until after the 2 years where up. The Banker never said anything about having a prior account....she told me after checking her computer that I did qualify for the bonus. Please Note: Make sure you get any verbal information in writing and signed. Best to never deal with U.S. Bank.

Worse bank in the world they rip me off I opened a account and never got anything this is a violation of the Canadian tready agreement I will report this to the US embassy can't believe a bank would rip someone off for a measly 20 dollars I'm glad is wasn't more run run run from this bank they deserve no stars

Has got to be the worst customer service. This is 2 out of 3 times the service was bad.It was 1:30 on a Tuesday I walk in the bank. No one at teller counter. No other customers in back. Three ladies at desks. One without looking up says "be right with you." A minute later a lady walking around repeats "someone will be right with you" as she fudges with stuff around her desk and again without any eye contact. I wait a bit longer and since no one is moving in my direction. I leave. Horrible, if my mom wasn't so close to this bank I'd move our account to where I bank with my other accounts.FYI - I'm in customer service and saying hello when someone walks in the door means absolutely nothing if you act like they are interrupting you and you do nothing to help them.What a wasted reply from the company. I spend $6 a gallon on gas in CA to get to your bank and the best you can give me is...use an automated service. Obviously my time is not important to you because you did cause me a delay. I left due to lack of service. Not that there were people being helped and I had to wait. No customers in the bank but still no one helped me. Did you even read the comment? Thank you for proving you could care less about customer service in your bank.
