“This was our first experience at this barbershop. Lee needed our 4 year old to get cleaned up in time for Easter. We’re from South County and we did not expect the rain. We had breakfast nearby and walked around the corner to find another hair salon we’ve already been to, but the rain started so hard so we found shelter. In front of us across the street was this barbershop. I called the number asking if they accept walk-ins and they booked us for the next 15min. We crossed over and it was the best experience we ever had for a hair cut for our toddler. Very welcoming and friendly and allowed our toddlers to be the terrorizing toddlers. We did not have cash in hand at the time, but Don Jose was very understanding and still cut our boys hair and we returned afterwards to pay our dues. He is very experienced and has lots of patience with little ones. We plan on returning for future cuts for our boy! Thank you, Don Jose!“

I was a little concerned from some of the reviews, but it’s a solid cut for twenty bucks. He’s not talkative (which I prefer) and there was no music playing, so I could understand someone being uncomfortable with the quiet. He’s a smoker, so you’ll smell the cigarettes on his hands while he cuts.“
