Urgent Care near Castro Valley

“The entrance on Google is out of date as of 12/16/24. The entrance shown in photos is not in use, and you need to go around the corner to the entrance opposite the hospital entrance. It's a flat walk with no slopes or steps if you/your person has mobility impairments.“

“No matter what -
It will always suck going to urgent care, because the reason you are going, sucks. It is going to always take a long time to be seen since you walked in, just like 10 other people decided to do at the same time.

Since blue cross/blue shield customer care is not helpful (they just email you a generic list thast doesn't even cover what you need), i looked up and found these folks myself. I came in for a lingering cough that just seemed to be getting worse and with asthma, its more of a concern with hearing my lungs bubble.

The ladies who took care of me today in Castro valley are awesome! They were considerate, caring and were able to take care of me in a few hours......I literally just walked out and am writing this review in my car.

If I need to go to urgent care, it's most deff going to be progressive again.

As for the negative reviews, either they have never been to urgent care before, were total karens wanting to push an agenda, or people out to try to ruin ratings for this place.“

“Not sure why it says the location is closed on here, but I just went here today for a consultation with Dr. Liang. The SF location had closed and I had always been going there because I was always so pleased with their flexibility and services. When I found out the only location was in Oakland I made the special trip just to go to this clinic and I had the best experience. Dr. Liang took the time to diagnose me and talk to me about my symptoms and then how to proceed with medication (turns out I have bronchitis and an infection, nothing too serious) he was very attentive, friendly, professional, and thorough. The prices were very affordable and reasonable for someone who doesn't have health insurance. I strongly recommend this clinic if you ever want to get quickly checked out or for anything else! “The facility was clean and nice. Administrative staff were fast, thorough, and efficient. The doctor looked over my cut finger, reassured me, and explained how to care for the wound and what to expect as it healed. It helps that my injury was not serious - but that doesn't minimize the usefulness of making the visit. And my insurance covers the cost -helps a lot too.“
