Jim came into the picture last minute when we realized the custom cabinet maker we had chosen couldn't do what we wanted. Jim was super friendly and had a great "can do" attitude. There are "custom" cabinets and there are "custom" cabinets. Many "custom" cabinet makers are actually just local showrooms that send out to some place in the Midwest to some big shop that does a lot of cabinet making. Not Jim. He has a shop here in the Bay area and does all of his own design and assembly work right here. It was great to be able to work directly with Jim to get exactly what we wanted, down to the minutest detail. Jim subs out the painting and finish work to another local shop....read full review
