Dr. Guilford is one of the best chiropractors I've visited in my lifetime. He takes a holistic approach and will also recommend exercises to help you heal quicker. He's also a great listener and you can tell he really cares about the outcome of his patients. Glad he's in Castro Valley!

I can't say enough nice things about Dr. Guilford! The first time I met him was for my wife to get adjusted after a car accident, this was in July of 2019 (long before covid). He helped her so much in her first treatment we came in because she woke up one day and couldn't turn her neck it was so stiff. We found him in our list of preferred doctors (he accepts many different insurances) BCBS Medicare and Kaiser are just a few that I know of because these are the ones I have. Anyway he fixed her up. And then she kept seeing him for maintenance and hasn't had any complaints since. Just recently on a week my wife was out if town, I woke up and couldn't stand up straight. I tried going to some other place I won't name cause it wasn't a great experience. Right after I left that place in the same amount of pain that I arrived in, I called the wife and she said why don't you go see Dr Guilford? So I went right over there with no appointment i didn't even call. I get there and the door is locked. So I tried to call and he answered. He was closed for lunch but since I told him who I was (he remembered me from my wifes appointments) he agreed to see me. I thank my lucky stars for that because after I saw him (that was my first time ever seeing a chiropractor) I could stand up straight again! Don't get me wrong, I was still in a lot of pain but it was more than likely due to a slipped disc. This guy is the real deal. Pretty straightforward and quick too. He addressed all my needs and I seen him multiple times since then. His office does have a little bit of "older" equipment its definitely not high tech, and he is his own front desk. Its a one man show, but he gets it done and is super nice! I definitely am going to keep seeing him for maintenance. And I would definitely send family and friends to him.

I called Dr. Guilford prior to going in and had inquiries regarding my insurance etc. I was able to make a same day appt. which was super awesome! My lower back was in so much pain from pulling it and neck pain as well from a sudden turn. He was able to help relieve the pain I had in my lower back just a tad bit by adjusting and stretching out my back. Went back the next day and was able to see him 3x in total. The 3rd visit my neck pain was almost gone including my lower back pain. He's helped so much. Thank you Dr.Guilford you do amazing work all in the course of a week.
