After visiting 4-5 places I settled on Fairbanks One and have not regretted it one bit. My mother seems very well taken care of and Viorica the business owner is a delight, thoughtful, caring, a good cook, and conscientious. The place is warm and friendly and last but not least, Viorica is super reasonable, she's not in this to make a lot of money, she is a genuinely nice person and caretaker. My mother seems really contented.

I moved my Mom to Fairbanks One August 2018. The care she received was excellent. Vio the main caregiver and owner goes above and beyond for her residents. My Mom has special dietary needs and she made her meals enjoyable and tasty. My Mom passed away in June 2019 with Vio at her side. I can't begin to tell you how much care she gave my Mom in her last few months. She also kept in daily contact with me. I felt very at ease knowing that Vio and the other women who help her were taking care of my Mom. The house is extremely clean and organized. The food that is served was very good. She takes great pride in the care she give to her residence and the home. I would highly recommend Fairbanks Home Care for your family member that need this type of care.

Fairbanks was a welcome relief from the larger facility in which my father was residing. It is a board and care, consisting of two long houses next to each other, each with a maximum of six residents. The private bedrooms are large, the whole place is bright, fairly well kept up, and very clean. There is outdoor space in the back for sun or relaxing with family. The residents are clean. Dirty diapers never get into the indoor trash... they are immediately carried outdoors for disposal. Vio, the primary caregiver in the house where my father was living, is absolutely one of the kindest and most caring people I have ever met. She consistently provides personalized care to her charges with obvious love. When my father died, she cried with me, because she, too, lost someone she truly cared about. The food is fantastic...the residents agree. It is home cooking from scratch, with consideration to what each resident enjoys, with awesome home made desserts. They are not rushed through meals, and are given assistance as needed. Clothing is laundered on site, and does not get ruined or lost. George, the administrator, works in the other house, with his wife, but frequently helps at both sites as needed. He has a great sense of humor, and teases the residents who like that sort of thing (like my father). He is also the handyman and main shopper. We felt that my father got the absolute best care at Fairbanks, and would highly recommend them to anyone wishing to find a loving home-type arrangement for their loved one.
