Yes my kitty died but she was very very sick for awhile I knew that when I took her there that she would never come home. The vets were kind and nice and all staff was greatIt took me over 2 years to write this and yes it cost me a lot of money but no matter where you go prices are about the same ! I would have spent a million on her if I had to !

This place is a money merry-go-round. Antibiotics were not given for open wound until 2 weeks later.. a pathetic accuse wasn't even made, and no responsibility taken by staff. AVOID..

Dr. Birar and his staff at Castro Valley Animal Hospital are amazing! He is a great man, helpful and a man of his words. They saved my cat's (Helo) life with his quick diagnosis and treatment. I want to thank Dr Birar and his staff. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs veterinary care.
