“Came to Avalon Optometry after my previous eye doctor (Dr. Stephen Chase) retired. Saw Dr. Ryan Yuan, and the visit was very comprehensive. Dr. Ryan checked for eye health issues and we discussed corrective eye surgery options. Dr. Ryan is very knowledgeable, patient, and kind. Annabel assisted me in selecting frames and was super patient with me as I have a big head , she was extremely kind and knowledgeable. I highly recommend coming to Avalon Optometry!!“

“Gee, I really don't know how to start without making this a long drawn out review but I'll try. I met doctor Chu and her sister Suzanne between twenty five and thirty years ago. I came by to do a business license inspection and to also make sure the property was safe for them and future clients. At the time of the inspection I was not in need of eye exams or eyewear so I was just happy to meet a couple of sisters that had a community vision of something that was needed in the area. Suzanne and Amy have always been patient, caring people who have shown a great interest and concern in all their clients. At some point clients become friends who are welcomed into the business. As for as the receptionist are concerned they have all been incredibly professional and welcoming in my opinion. They have a more then adequate selection of frames from Gucci, Dolce and Cabanna, Ray Bans, Carrera etc. By chance there is a frame that they don't have in their collection, give Suzanne the maker and model number and she'll locate it. I'm big on customer service and they absolutely deliver in every aspect of customer service. I'll always keep my loyalty to them and I hope that they remain in the Carson area delivering the same quality of service that they have been for the last couple of decades. “Dr. Ishigo helped my eye feel better! I had strong eye irritation and I asked if I could be seen with very short notice before the weekend. The team was welcoming upon arrival and quickly took me to the doctor's office. Dr. Ishigo was able to identify an eye lash stuck in my lower eye lid. She took out the eye lash that was deeply embedded in my eyelid and also made sure that no further eye damage was done. The irritation is now gone! Feeling grateful for her and her team for their timely, kind, and effective care.“
