“Where to even start! Mindful Movement has literally changed my life. After 3 years working with Kaleena Hurlburt, gyrotronics leader extraordinare, I have a body I struggle to recognize as my own. The studio is a safe haven where the thoughtful, compassionate, knowledgeable staff work with you every minute of your session; guiding your movements to yield fluidity and grow strength. As a septuagenarian I confess that I have never felt better about my body. Miracles can happen.“
“Visiting family in town and decided to take the Strength & Flow class, I’m so glad I did! What an amazing space with great instructors. Highly recommend this studio :)“
“He’s a wizard…best massage of my life…. These are the comments from two others that worked with kaleo. And I absolutely agree.“
“I never live close to a traditional ashtanga class, so when I find one, it's a must. This is cozy space that can comfortably fit ~15 people, and I took the led class. I absolutely loved it. The website notes to email them before showing up. It's likely because it is a small business and they just want to know your level of yoga before you get there. You arrive, sign in, and pay cash or Zelle. I love ashtanga not only because you get these amazing adjustments, but the flow of the class just transforms your body and mind, I don't have to think about anything. The instructor is well indeed trained certainly by the gurus. It was definitely a challenge for me having not done a traditional class in a long time. The studio was warm, and I definitely was quite sweaty in this class. It is not an overly heated class, but the practice itself warmed my body up. Every adjustment that I received allowed me to remember the shape and learn how it should really feel, and really how capable I am. They all just felt so good. I felt a little dehydrated before I got to class so I brought my water bottle in but traditionally you would not. I actually didn't take any sips during class-- I usually don't during any yoga class. They do offer props in class which I think is also unique for a ashtanga. Everyone has her limitations. Ashtanga is the yoga style where I feel like I need two blocks (for lift ups). Will be back every time I'm in town.“
“Om Studios led a flow for an work offsite that I helped plan. I'm so grateful for their willingness to have an early start to accommodate our schedule. And for bringing yoga mats! We had a great flow at Asilomar and everyone who participated was so grateful, thank you so much. It was the perfect way to start the day leading into a full day of sessions.“
“I've worked with Danielle for 2 years via Zoom and it's been the best decision I've made for my health. Before, my body was a blank map, unknown to me. Now, I see it more clearly, how to explore and play. I used to loath exercise but more and more I've caught myself enjoying it, working out on my own time. Danielle will teach, hold you accountable, listen, customize your lessons, adapt to your schedule (I travel a lot for work) and will be your trusted guide through the still mysterious (now a little less so) wonderful world of the body and mind! If you're on the fence because you haven't found the right fit, I say take the leap with Danielle!“
