This a "must do in life." It's a one week car extravaganza. There are so many cars being shown off and come out of collections. Jay Leno lets go of a few dollars here at this event Yes, he's here. Droolatation all over the place. There are millions of dollars rolling around the street of Carmel and neighboring towns. Millions of dollars exchange hands at the car auctions. One lady bought 4. as though she was buying purses. So much money that it could solve the clean water crisis in the world. It is almost obscene. Hundred of Ferraris make distinguishing noise as they also crawl around the streets of Carmel being restrained from going over 100 miles an hour that they are built for. So many events it will keep you racing from event to event. You cannot see it all. It takes place in one of the most beautiful beach town and through the forest of Big Sur. Expect to pay minimum $400 start for cheaper hotels and thousands for luxury digs. You can really benefit if you have connections. Cash your dividend checks and save up for one of those red works of art at auction and zoom zoom home. I discovered that they are a good investment because they only go up in value. The event may be getting too big for Carmel to handle. It's been discovered by bloggers and influencers and a lot of Instagramers and has taken on a different vibe that locals are not happy about.
