Literally the best haircut I’ve ever had. I have wavy/curly hair that would get frizzy and unmanageable after every wash, and Michael understood exactly what to do even when I didn’t know what I wanted. My curls are more pronounced, my hair is growing out wonderfully, and I have to use less products, time, and effort to get amazing and FRIZZ FREE hair. The haircut reduced my frizz without having to add any products. I didn’t even know that was possible.

Michael was highly recommended by a curly colleague five or ten years ago and I have been seeing him religiously every four months since. Initially, my hair was one of the things I hated most about my appearance. It would look unkempt, tired and frizzy no matter how much time I spent on it. These days, I love how alive and healthy it is with no effort required - wash, towel dry, put in some cream and leave it alone for the rest of the week! I'm a shy introvert, but my hair's personality has been unleashed and I call it my proud lioness mane. And it receives many compliments. Through the various salons that Michael has worked at and house calls during the pandemic, he always seemed to have an intuition about my mood and he'll be soothing and offer a shoulder and scalp massage when I'm exhausted or we'll laugh until we tear up a little when I'm refreshed.
