Weird giving a sport clips a five star but my last recent experiences warranted it, and I got a little insight into how well this owner treats the employees and the Sport Clips model, which also sells me on a place more. I'm also hesitant to write this because it might start getting too busy like the other ones in the area with a 2 hr wait time. But anyways.... Riley has done my hair twice now and honestly better than the 60$ competitors in this area of Cbad. Not only a great stylist, but a genuine person and the type of individual that can make the hair cut seem pleasant and ensure return business. I can be a little overwhelming to some but he does well matching the tone. I have literally switched from another location I've been going to for 2 years and now here. I just hope he doesn't get too busy. I just asked him to make my hair look good for business trips I take often and he just literally did a great job. He'd ask me what my preference was and I just asked him for his recommendation. How should I know? I don't cut or style hair. My opinion is useless. He also greets everyone. If he wasn't doing hair I'd find a way to get him at my company. He's the type of person you want repping your company. He was being evaluated by Brittany (hope I got the right spelling) and I hope his review was top notch. My only drawback and feedback is the Sportclips model is limiting. You cannot book a haircut in advance. You have a base of clients that literally plan this stuff on repeat a month or more in advance. And their kids!! We have to basically check the app to see if they're working that day and if they're the next stylist available. So the app model is literally holding the brand back, and preventing repeat business. Sportclips has outgrown what they originally thought of when conceptualized, and the capabilities of their app. Invest in the upgrades and invest in your people. It's 2024, people literally plan well in advance. I know I do. It would be nice to allow on the app to set an appointment, or after the transaction is done, they can ask would you like to book for the future, or get notified when the stylist is working or their schedule, something. Also the stylist earned that business. The 60$ competitors do, get modern, update your stuff, out-modern the competitor, cause they're comfy. Riley 5 stars. Better not get too busy. Blessings
I recently had the pleasure of getting a haircut at Sports Clips, and I couldn't be more impressed with the service provided by Riley. From start to finish, he ensured that my experience was nothing short of exceptional. Despite requesting a style that he doesn't typically do, he flawlessly executed it, leaving me with a haircut that exceeded my expectations. He aired on the side of caution rather than cutting away what cant be be put back on. Perfect vibe to catch part of a baseball game while getting a cut! Thanks Riley!
I love Sports Clips and the vibe they're after. Just be careful and you realize what you're getting yourself into. It's a phenomenal experience for men's haircuts and both genders while your little ones are still adolescents. They always did a great one length for my daughter and a great job on a short, business fade for me. I used to go to the Encinitas store and only saw 1 of 2 gals who cut my hair over a 8 yr period. These ladies eventually left and one opened up her own barber shop/ Salon, while the other works and manages it for the other. Naturally being the extremely loyal client that I am, I followed and have been there since.I was in a pinch and needed a haircut,...read full review
