Bad experience and a complete waste of our time. We saw the good reviews on Mike and his company and asked him out for an estimate. The only word I can use to describe Mike's demeanor was arrogant. He walked around the house as I told him what needed to be done. He didn't offer ideas or even seem very interested. Aside from the main job, I asked him to measure some windows in a small office, and he said he didn't need to. He could measure them by looking at them . He also told me that replacement windows for this small room would start at $35,000. I've had several bids on those windows, and that's about three times the highest bid I received. In fact, that is the only bid Mike gave me. After walking around with his nose in the air for an hour around my house, he promised to send me a bid in the next week. I never heard back. My husband sent an email, a text, and called Mike, but still no response, no bid. The work done on my home so far has been done by an amazing finish carpenter from Rancho Santa Fe. He has, unfortunately, retired . I think that once Mike saw that I was not open to the crazy pricing he was offering, he lost interest. I think this company might be for you if you don't care about price or budget and will pay whatever bill they send you.In any case, it was extremely unprofessional not to send out a bid , or at the very least inform us that he wasn't interested in the job.
