The sweet and talented ladies at Pro Hems tailored a vintage jacket that had been in my family for generations; to fit me like it was always meant to. They removed a stain (ink pen) that I had gotten on the jacket back in '88; I was convinced long ago that stain was never coming out: but they removed it! Finally; I had lost the original button years ago; they voluntarily presented a variety of buttons to me, one of which was a near perfect match, and attached it in minutes. I am truly grateful, and was clearly the most sharp dressed man at the wedding that weekend (sorry groom; family vintage trumps 3-piece-suit).

ProHems did all the alterations for my wedding dress and I'm so glad they did! Although I initially had sticker shock at how much alterations cost (the joy of weddings!), I couldn't have picked a better place and tailor to work with. We had several appointments during off-peak hours so they could be super-focused on what the dress needed, and were great at making sure I was comfortable every step of the way.My husband also got his suit tailored there, and they had it back to him within a week.I couldn't recommend ProHems more! Thank you SO much!!

The alterations done were great. However the up charges after I paid were not ok. I prepaid for my alterations - $165.00. I was told when I was walking out the door with the items that since they ironed the items I had to pay an additional fee- of $57.00! Not only do I find this price ridiculous I find it odd that the price wasn’t included in the initial charge. And why wasn’t I told this price before the work was done. The idea of prepaying is so you is exactly what you are paying for. When I put up a fuss the price changed to $37.00. I told them I could have ironed them myself and I wouldn’t come back .
