My son has been going to NCMA for both the after school program and karate class. He’s absolutely loved it, his confidence has grown tremendously, and he looks forward to seeing all the coaches and staff. They’ve helped encourage resilience, confidence, and regulating his own emotions. We’re very thankful our son has a place like this with some great role models to be a part of.
A Truly Exceptional Martial Arts Community at NCMA
NCMA has been an incredible place for our family, and we are so grateful to be part of this karate community. The studio shares the same facility as Carlsbad’s Best, but the martial arts program deserves its own special praise.
My oldest is now a black belt, and watching that journey has been amazing. My youngest and I are working through the color belt ranks together, and training side by side has been one of the best experiences we’ve had as a family. I love that karate is a lifelong sport. There is always more to learn, and the community here makes you want to keep growing.

We have been here for 2 years now with our son and look forward to enrolling our daughter as well!
Truly love the culture, community, and overall principles that this dojo trains on as those that have studied the martial arts it is important to make sure your child is learning core fundamentals that apply in the real world.
My son has done just that in the past few years with this teams influence on his daily practice in discipline, respect, forgiveness and so much more.
It takes an army to raise kids and I’m grateful these folks are on my team to help with my children’s growth.
