I am very reluctant to leave bad reviews and I almost never do. But in this case I felt it was my responsibility to educate potential customers. My tankless water heater (Noritz) had a leak. Before the repair guy from Payless Water Heaters came over, I looked up the price of the unit. $1300.00 including taxes. The guy from Payless came over and gave me two options A: Fix the water heater. Cost: $1500 or B: Replace the water heater. He gave me an estimate for the replacement cost. A whopping $3700 including the unit. In other words, they wanted to charge me $2400 for the labor. I estimated that it would take about an hour to replace the unit myself.
