“Let me start off by saying if hooked on phonics was still around this review would be much more grammatically correct and descriptive. I looked up many of the barber shops in this area and was not impressed by any other than this one. If I wanted my haircut to look like I was drunk, pepper sprayed, and used my wrong hand and a steak knife to cut it I would have gone elsewhere. The last barber I went to in this area impressed me in the face that I couldn't find two hairs the same length... Fire up the weed Wacker and tie it to a ceiling fan because that's the haircut you'll get unless you go here! After an Obama Pride rally, I walked into this fine establishment as of man of little color and little identity with my Israeli curls wrapping around my glasses and was taken care of to extent of my imagination. I had the pleasure of having Allie cut my hair and she made me go from looking special needs to Ryan Gosling! She was an absolute gem in every way shape and form. I personally could not stop focusing on the entire ambiance and experience that is the Legit barber shop. The chairs were so soft it felt like I was sitting on a cloud of high thread count crocodile leather that had been aged with love and empathy from my family I never had. It was so warm, comforting and peaceful sitting there in the perfectly controlled AC environment with great conversation. The floor was so clean and well waxed that it looked spit shined. The mirrors were so clean that someone almost walked right into the glass! The amount of lighting and foot candles in the space was perfect with the dimming so I did not get a headache from my enlarged retinas. She used a straight razor to trim my beard off all three of my chins and did such a great job that it still has not grown back and my chiseled jaw line and immaculate masculine hairline has been untouched to this day. I don't know how to explain it but it grows back perfectly untouched. She had my curls cascading down my back like a fresh avalanche on a sunny day after a storm. Not only was I revitalized and rejuvenated with life after this haircut but I also seemed to have gained back my emotional confidence that I lost as a child. This was the most pleasurable PG experience I've ever to date in my life. If my hair ever grows back in a non perfect way that Allie's angel hands left it, ill be back that hour to feel this experience of bliss and ecstasy again.“
