I was referred to Abundant Heaven, specifically to see Michael Brown thru a good friend. I was very skeptical at first about acupuncture and extremely nervous because I’m deathly afraid of needles. My lower back pain after a series of physical therapy sessions and and epidural shot in my lower back did not help much with my lower back pain. It was very temporary. So after much deliberation with myself I decided to try acupuncture at Abundant Heaven with Michael as my doctor. First and foremost, Michael has such a calming demeanor and was so very understanding and patient of my anxiety of needles and being claustrophobic he made me feel so at ease that I could let my guard down and was finally open to trying acupuncture. I can’t say enough good things about Michael and Abundant Heaven. His knowledge of alternative Chinese medicine is amazing and comforting. His expertise on doing acupuncture is phenomenal! Michael starts out the session with an amazing massage which relaxes your mind and body which in turn helps when its time for the acupuncture part of the session. Michael is very gentle, and honestly I rarely had a moment where I felt I needed him to stop or discontinue the session, but if I ever did need to stop, which never occurred, I knew Michael would never be impatient with me or try to force me to continue. That made me feel so at ease that I not only looked forward to my sessions with Michael but have never felt better! My lower back and right shoulder have responded so well to acupuncture, that I’m standing upright and feeling good and back to exercising because of Michael and Abundant Heaven. I would highly recommend going to Abundant Heaven and giving acupuncture a try especially when traditional medicine fails. I can’t thank Michael enough for helping me and since I’m feeling so much better physically and mentally I don’t need as many visits now because of how well I’m doing, but will continue to go to acupuncture with Michael at Abundant Heaven for maintenance when needed so I can keep feeling this good. I highly recommend Michael and his wife Jessica, they are amazing!
