It is with appreciation that I write the following comments about neurologist Dr. Ourmazdi. He demonstrated repeated patience with me, a patient who was having both physical and psychological problems. He provided technical assistance with a nonparticipant on a screen recording us, not as is so often the case with the doctor being at the computer with little interaction with the patient. He was informative about negative side effects of drugs and benefits of non-prescriptive especially in regard to stress and alertness. Dr. Ourmazdi is a lifesaver and a fighter. A gift to humanity. A finer gentleman would be hard to find. Just the person you want in your corner. I am proud to call him 'my doctor'.

Dr. Ourmazdi is a very kind and competent neurologist. He first saw my 82 y/o mom at St John's Hospital in Camarillo where my mom was diagnosed with breast Cancer that metastasized to her brain. We continued seeing him for appointments with a very good website that both she and I can see him on an iPad. He can also see her on the IPad and ask her questions and he does neurological exams effectively without putting her at more risk to Covid 19. She is currently receiving treatment. She had radiation to her brain and is having infusions ordered by an oncologist. She is doing better. He safely put her on the correct medicines to prevent seizures ( brain tumors can cause seizures) which are very scary. This is a very tough disease and there are no cures.- just treatment at this point. He gives my mom helpful suggestions. She is by no means an easy patient. He tries his very best and always tells us to call him for any questions or changes in her condition. His scheduler Michelle is very nice and always reminds us of the appointments. We truly like Dr. Ourmazdi and would recommend him.
