They started nice. Cheney seems knowledgeable but after taking the entire project fee to draft and obtain permit to build. He didn't do anything at all to expedite the project. 3 years and left unfinished. The $460k original quote went to $420 to 1.2 million. This huy did me so wrong by promising affordable price only to Tripped it before actual building the 1,800sqft little house.

My wife and I recently completed construction of our new home in the Spanish Hills section of Camarillo. Throughout the process company owner Shaun Cheney provided resourceful and innovative solutions to otherwise perplexing problems. Cheney Construction also assembled a team of competent and cooperative sub-contractors. This company always exhibited a strong commitment to quality workmanship. Additionally, even after the certificate of occupancy was obtained, Shaun visited our home to remediate even the smallest of imperfections. On balance, Cheney Construction proved to be a contractor that honored their commitment to excellence.
