Worst customer service I have ever received in my life. I came in for a simple lice check and Jen spent the entire session interrogating me about my race. No matter how much I conveyed discomfort, she continued to make assumptions about me, ask which “ethnic side I feel more as” (as if I cannot treat both my parents equally because I’m mixed), and objectified me like I am not American even after telling her that I am from here. She was extremely obnoxious, unprofessional, and crass. Moreover, a total buffoon with no self awareness nor common sense. What a shame. She should not be around kids. Told the owner about it and she was unhelpful. I got ripped off for $60.
"Daddy, if I get lice again, can we go to Hair Fairies?"My daughter asked that after our visit, and while I hope she doesn't get lice again, I would definitely take her to Hair Fairies again.I had taken a shot at treating the lice myself but suspected I hadn't gotten all the nits, so I booked a treatment appointment. When we got there, Kirsten really engaged my daughter, who usually takes a while to warm up to new people. And it turns out that I had gotten all the nits, so Kirsten only charged me for a screening instead of a treatment. I was fully prepared to pay for an hour of her time, as that's what I'd booked, but she only charged for 15 minutes.
