UCLA Health Burbank Primary & Specialty Care

Sadly the entire state of the healthcare system is failing patients. We are getting away from talking with people on the phone to using 'Mychart' or going through a call center that makes appointments for many different doctors. Out of the entire UCLA Health group in Burbank including the MPI facility, the only good experience has been the blood lab. Doctors have subsets of who they will see or not see....over 65, you might be out of luck. I feel there is a huge gap in communication between patients and doctors because of the digital system, especially for older folks. EDIT: I went today, received excellent care from the NP and the office manager spoke to me after about my review. Which, I appreciated. I expressed my frustration because when you make an appt 3 months out, and then it's cancelled, it feels a lot like they don't care. However, Jennifer, the NP was awesome and really made all the difference. I understand that the "OB" part of OB/GYN is a specialty, and one that I don't need anymore. So, their time is under different constraints. This review is not about the doctors, or UCLA health at all. In fact, UCLA has been great for me. This is about the facility itself, and the inept company they are using to run the parking lot. There is very little parking, and what parking there is is usually congested. To make matters worse, their parking prepay machines have been broken for several weeks if not months now, so they have people attempting to collect their money at the exit, which creates even more congestion. The icing on the cake is that now, only ONE of their exit machines works, so ALL the cars have to exit through one gate. You will wait for 20-30 minutes in line, just to exit the garage.
