Rae Ellen and the whole team are amazing. We filed our 1990 taxes using their services and every year since. Their understanding of the entertainment industry deductions is second to none. My husband and I have been going to see Rae Ellen at Tate and Associates to have our taxes done, for over a decade. She is friendly, knowledgeable and completes everything in a timely manner. Rae Ellen has always been available to answer questions and when we (preCOVID) would come in person, she took her time answering any questions we had. We highly recommend Rae Ellen!
This is a family run business and in the same vein, my family is a multi generation supporter of Tate & Associates. Some of my earliest memories are of going into Tate's office with my parents and grandmother as they filed taxes. As an adult, I've brought my kids to the Tate office while meeting with Jerry's daughter Rae Ellen for tax preparation services. (Virtual appointments only since 2020- which I appreciate!) Full disclosure: in my independent 20s, I tried to use a different CPA for tax preparation and paid a crazy fee without much difference in my return. Rae Ellen is friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable with taxes and the law. Plus, anything changes with your income, you can call and get immediate free tax advice as far as filling status and withholding. With Rae Ellen's assistance, I've never had to pay back taxes after filing my return. She's great and I recommend Tate & Associates to anyone and everyone.
