“We are so happy we contacted The Floor Center when we were ready to refresh our upstairs floors. We wanted to remove all the carpeting and floor coverings throughout our second floor. Our hope was that we would be able to put hardwood throughout the bedrooms and hallway, and find eco-friendly, high quality non-tile options for the bathrooms and laundry room.

Geena, Ray, Robert, and their whole team were great. Ray was the point man on our project. He came out and assessed our floors, immediately saw the need for subfloor repair and replacement, and discussed our goals and budget. His bid was detailed, fair, and competitive. He bid both engineered hardwood and Somerset oak pre-finished hardwood, and we were extremely pleased to find that the Somerset hardwood fit our budget. His suggestion of Forbo and Karndean Luxury vinyl turned out to be great choices for the laundry room and baths.

Ray made a clear plan that went smoothly. All work was done in a timely manner. They came on schedule, worked long days, and were a pleasure to have working here. They were kind and respectful of our home and made the upheaval that goes with this kind of work much less stressful. They crew handled the demolition and removal of large sections of subfloor with great care and precision, and carefully hauled it out with no damage to walls or stairway. They and Ray consulted with us every step of the way, ensuring we understood the condition of the subfloor and our options for repair or replacement. The installation of the new flooring was done with great attention to detail and care. And the final touch~the installation of new carpeting on the stairway~was done beautifully as well.
